And the end result is actually BEAUTIFUL!!!!! The technical aspects are completely cooperative and not frustrating at all. You can zoom out to really get into those small spaces. And perhaps best of all, are the filters you can add to your finished product. You can turn all the black lines white and see if that looks better. You can add a vignette which looks great. You can make it look like it is painted on wood, or knitted, or drawn on crumpled paper, etc. Seriously great app!!!! Also lots and lots of designs in many categories.

For comparison, if readers are an experienced adult colorist, the paper most closely matches a thinner version of Dover Publicatons’ Creative Haven paper. Because of the lack of texture (tooth) to the paper, I’m not sure how many layers of pigment very seriously artistic colorists could build up using soft core, blendable pencils without using solvents (I didn’t try that hard and only used a few light layers).
